Where Young Musicians Become Professional Musicians

Our Mission

The Colorado After-school Music Program (AMP) provides kids and teens with the opportunity to learn the skills needed to become a lifelong learner and musician. Through affordable private instruction, after-school band programs, workshops and school break camps, students learn to play various instruments, music theory, ear-training, individual and group performance, recording and production, music history and more. Our programming is low cost for all families, but we also offer sliding scale fees and scholarships to students and families who don’t have the ability to pay, and we are committed to making music accessible for all kids and families across Colorado.

Donate Your Car to Help Fund Colorado AMP

Car donations are one of the easiest and best ways to help fund our music program for kids.    We make the process easy and seamless.  You’ll have the added benefit of knowing that your donation made a difference in a child’s musical career.

Who is this program for?

Pre-teens and teens who are musically-minded or just musically-inclined.  Colorado AMP will foster the creativity of budding musicians or those interested in the music business in general.  Our aim is simple: we focus first on making sure participants are successful in school, followed by in-depth guidance through musical landscapes leading them to professional level musicianship.

Donate Your Instrument

Colorado AMP is always accepting musical instruments for use in their program.  When you donate an instrument, you are helping a student with something that they might not be able to afford otherwise.  All instrument donations are tax-deductible and can be picked up by our non-profit or dropped off at our space in Arvada. Help a child reach their full musical potential by donating a new or used instrument to our program today.

Upcoming Events

Bluebird Theater | August 10, 2022

Colorado AMP is hosting a fundraiser on August 10, 2022 at the Bluebird Theater to help expand our program and give our students a chance to get up on stage with some incredible, professional acts.

All profits from the show will go back to Colorado AMP and every act that is performing has volunteered their time for our cause.  Thank you for supporting our mission!
